What You Will Do In Your Role
- To develop, work out test plans and test schedules with relevant test engineers so as to meet necessary test requirements and project schedule.
- To design and fabricate necessary fixtures and PCBs required by related tests.
- To develop and include Abusive Tests in all new projects submitted for tests.
- To coordinate with outside test centers for external tests whenever necessary.
- To conduct failure analysis or evaluation as requested by internal or external customers.
- To initiate meeting whenever there is any product functional failures with the requestor or the team so as to ensure
- closure of that test request.
- To write and present test reports and other reports as required for product release and qualification and also ensure
- that they are filed properly.
- To compile and submit customer packages as assigned by the supervisor.
- To be fully responsible and take care of the equipment assigned by the supervisor. This include equipment
- maintenance and calibration co-ordination.
- To write and update SOPs and procedures as required by relevant tests and equipment.
- To assign report number and update test databases whenever a test is completed.
- To support TQM and DLT activities whenever required by supervisor.
- To ensure good general housekeeping of the reliability lab.
- To maintain the standard as well as meeting the requirements of ISO 17025
- To work with customers if there is a need to understand their test requirements.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical/ Materials Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years work experience in test lab
What Will Put You Ahead
- Certified Reliability Engineer preferred
- Involved in production qualification and failure analysis.
- Strong Problem Solving Skills (SPC, LSS, FMEA)
- Competent in IT skills (MS Excel, Powerpoint, WORDS)
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work in teams
- Product reliability knowledge preferred
- Experience in handling chambers, SEM/EDX, FTIR, cross-sectioning preferred
