Sr Manager, Operations

Primary Purpose

Responsible for all activities of the operations management by providing a proactive, strategic, systematic thinking. Be accountable for the operation fulfillment in terms of safety, quality, delivery and cost, as well as develop people competence to be competitive.  

What You Will Do In Your Role

1. Support operation director in all aspects and responsible for the business units profit & lost 
   
2. Plan, develop and implement business & product strategies to meet customer & organization expectations 
   
3. Manage the daily manufacturing activities of corresponding business units to ensure the safety, maintain and improve quality standards, order execution and process efficiency 
   
4. Engage frond end cross functional teams (PDE/PGM/MIE/AQP etc.) to ensure NPI process flawless launch 
   
5. Ensure resource optimization and standardization of best common process & practice 
   
6. Establish and maintain appropriate controlling and systems for measuring operational management and development
   
7. Develop and oversee implementation & administration of department policies, systems and procedures 
   
8. Drive for Lean & six sigma, design for manufacturing capability, cultivate 7S and TPM in manufacturing operation 
   
9. Manage production & engineering personnel – work allocation, training, problem resolution and determine optimum staffing model to meet capability needs of business growth 
   
10. Ensure compliance with corporate, local policies and regulations, as well as promote MBM culture 
    
11. Take other temporary assignments 
    

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above, majored in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related subject
   
2. 10+ years working experience in manufacturing field 
   
3. 5+ years experience in management leader role  
   
4. Familiar with IATF16949/ VDA6.3 
   
5. Proven history of successful strategy planning, goal setting and employee management
   
6. Proven success with efficient production line organization and output improvement 
   
7. Aggressive in strategy planning and plan execution 
   
8. Strong communication and presentation skills (Oral and Written, English and Chinese) 
   
9. Experienced team builder and participant 
   
10. Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to motivate and lead a diverse work force to achieve desired results 
    
11. Entrepreneuaial, economic thinking, decision-making, problem solving and negotiation skills 
    
12. Knowledge of lean & six sigma and the ability to lead team to implement improvement 
    
13. Familiar with office software (excel, word, ppt)
    

What Will Put You Ahead

1. Lean & six sigma related certification (Lean master/MBB/BB) 
   
2. Experience in an international company, manufacturing industry and developing structures 
   
3. Experience in project management and organization development 
   
4. Experience in quality or continuous improvement / operational excellence 
   
5. Product and Process Knowledge in cable assembly, PCBA or equivalent manufacturing experience 
   
6. Familiar with Formal Q/BIQS/ FORD Q1 etc. automotive customer requirement 
   
7. Proven history of successful creation and implementation of training program & operational procedure 
   
8. SAP understanding
