Account Manager
Description
Primary Purpose
Responsible for managing ramp readiness process for Apple, and act as single point of contact for Apple’s fulfilment team in Asia. Responsible for full management of the Supply Chain Channel for certain Apple Product Categories. Coordinating the fulfilment side of the business and collaborating with: EMS / TMNA / ODM Sales Teams, Logistics Groups, Demand Planning, MSBU, PSBU product marketing groups.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Is overall responsible for all Fulfilment & Supply chain-based activities in Asia
- Maintains and develops relationships with high level personnel within Apple APO to secure Molex’s current position- such as driving QBR in region and safeguarding the supply.
- Principal coordinator of program pre-launch process and makes sure that the data coordination and process is coordinated with Front-end Acct Mgr.’s, OEM Sales and Sales Planning, CSR & FAE.
- Manages the Supply/Demand data, Forecasting analysis (MPS) WOS (Weeks of Stock) ratio and drives the organization to 100% On time delivery with no interruption to the supply chains.
- Works closely with Sales Managers of major OEM’s (FX, QSMC, GC Disty and TMNA sub-tier) to ensure goals- such as sales budget and level of service- are met
- Manages all quality related issues & concerns through our QA system by raising QN’s and coordinating the RCA / 8D responses.
- Focuses on new business opportunities to ensure successful launch of new products and for new programs. Works in collaboration with the Apple GAM Team based out of Fremont Ca to ensure that NPI launches are properly identified and captured.
- Is the next level of escalation for Apple APO GSM’s.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key individuals across all Apple contract manufacturers in regions to quickly handle supply issues related to delivery or quality and prevent escalations back to Apple.
- Manages and safe guards the MAT Table to ensure proper credit is captured on all Apple Business.
- Responsible for understanding our Market Share & competitive market data.
- Responsible for meeting Annual Sales Quota and protecting Molex’s market share.
- Develop a strong positive relationship with the customer.
Social Responsibility
Manage and implement Corporate Social Responsibility/EICC Initiatives and ensure compliance to all labor and employment (or EHS) related policies and procedures
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical area of study
- Minimum 5 years in Sales Fulfilment and or Senior Customer service positions
- Fluent in English, reading and writing
- Strong ability to pay attention to details and read / edit Excel Spread sheets managing a lot of data and drawings conclusions.
- Deep knowledge of Excel is a must.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Enjoys working with Customers.
- Market Analysis and understands the customers Products & Applications.
- Works Fast & Focused.
- 3-6 years working experience in electronic Industry
