We are seeking a detail-oriented real estate paralegal, who will work independently to assist attorneys with various commercial real estate transactions across the Koch companies, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and land use issues. This is an exciting opportunity as you will have the chance to learn various aspects of real estate execution. No day is the same and you will gain exposure to a broad range of legal areas. Koch Companies Services, LLC is a services business that supports the global affiliates of Koch Industries, Inc.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Coordinating with title companies, surveyors, zoning consultants, and internal commercial real estate functions
  • Organizing and Reviewing title and survey documents and working with title companies and surveyors to resolve issues
  • Assessing and preparing contracts, lease agreements, and closing documents
  • Reviewing and responding to tenant estoppels, SNDAs, and similar documents
  • Preparing initial easement and access agreements and other similar documents

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience as commercial real estate paralegal
  • Experience with reviewing title and survey documents
  • Experience assisting with commercial real estate closings

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience reviewing and responding to tenant estoppels, SNDAs, and similar documents
  • Experience drafting lease amendments for the leases, notice letters
  • Experience with land use issues
  • Experience working in an in-house legal department
