What You Will Do In Your Role

• Applying analytical economic models in Pricing of products, analyse competitor prices to develop strategy to come up with discounts etc. 
• Providing and presenting key findings for driving strategies
  

Economic modelling and data engineering to help optimize current and desired pricing and commercial excellence concepts – e.g. list price, volume curves, distributor margin management, anchor price, deal price optimization

Analyse internal and external pricing data by utilizing quantitative & qualitative methods to identify optimal price points depending on customer market segment and product.

Collect and analyse transactional data to report and segment profitability and identify profit leakage areas. Implement actions to address these leakages.

Engage with Business Units / Product management to support them in price setting mechanisms in line with the strategic product framework.

Develop and implement pricing tools and capabilities that are being used throughout the company to more quickly adjust the prices to enhance sales volume and conversion rates.

Present Key findings to Senior management: Key aspect of the role is to turn complex data patterns into actionable strategies and techniques to present results to key stakeholders using various presentation tools like PPT, Power BI or Tableau etc.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in a related field (e.g. Economics, Finance) or Master degree in a related field (e.g. Economics, Finance)
• Problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Previous  experience in a Pricing or commercial excellence role.
• Economic modelling and data engineering skills.
• Good understanding of statistical and data analysis. Strong visualization and exploratory analysis skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI is nice to have.
• Strong business acumen to understand business objectives & dynamic and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Programming experience in R or Python 
• Experience with SAP and Vendavo
