Production Associate



The Georgia-Pacific corrugated box plant in Huntsville, AL is now hiring to expand our team of talented Production Associates. Candidates selected for this role will have the unique opportunity to train with our experienced machine operators and learn our process of producing corrugated boxes from start to finish.

This position starts at $18.96/hr with shift differentials .

Qualified candidates must be willing to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for at least eight (8) and up to (12) hours a day working any shift that includes weekends, holidays, and overtime in a hot, cold, dusty and noisy industrial environment. Candidates will also maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.

What You Will Do In Your Role

After training, the sky is the limit! Successful trainees have the opportunity to move into Machine Operator roles on different pieces of production equipment. This position may be right for you if you are:

The Experience You Will Bring


  • One (1) year or more of continuous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in a corrugated box plant

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience using a computer, such as typing, using a mouse, and email
