Application Engineer

Job-specific intro paragraph:

Application engineer will support the internal sales process assisting sales team. It will be focused on industrial plants in the following segments: dairy, and food, and beverage, and related others.

What You Will Do In Your Role

- Prepare and revise cost estimation to be used in the sales process.

- Prepare technical and commercial proposals (Budget and Binding proposals).

- Create, and maintain, and update cost database with main sub supplier costings.

- Develop new sub supplier according to the needs.

- Participate in internal and external meetings in order to understand process to be applied.

- Assist Sales team with quotation reviews.

- Work with team from other areas (as Process engineering and supply chain) beyond sub supplier, in order to check and get all required information need to prepare quotations.

- Work together or provide support to the draftsman during lay out preparation

- Prepare and/or review basic PI&D

- Evaluate customer request for quotation together with sales engineer and application manager

- Divulge end promote the company technologies.

- Participate in seminar, and congresses and fairs.

- Availability for local and international travels supporting sales team.


The Experience You Will Bring


- Graduated in Engineering (Mechanical, or Chemical, or Food).

- Desirable experience in equipment process and application.

- Desirable experience in project detail with emphasis in P&ID´s e Lay-Out.

- Intermediate / advanced English.

- Knowledge in Office package.

- Desirable knowledge in AutoCad.

- Desirable knowledge in equipment process for Dairy, beverage, and food industries.

- Desirable knowledge in mass balance development.
