Koch-Glitsch is a global leader in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art mass transfer and mist elimination products for the chemical, petrochemical, refining, gas processing, pharmaceutical, and specialty industries. Koch-Glitsch offers a complete line of mass transfer products, including high performance and conventional distillation trays; random, severe services (grid), and structured packing in metal or plastic; and tower internals for distillation, absorption, stripping and extraction columns. Within our office in Stoke-on-Trent, Koch-Glitsch is seeking a Sales Support Assistant. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Execute effective and efficient enquiry handling, quotation and order processing.
  • Accurate maintenance & use of CRM & inhouse software systems to ensure exacting outputs.
  • Contact customers by telephone or email to promote products, clarify requirements or obtain missing information.
  • Regular and timely follow up of quotations.
  • Expediting orders through efficient internal liaison across business departments.
  • Support the development of the KES aftermarket business.
  • Support internal customers with systems administration and compliance related processes.
  • Effectively communicate market intelligence, trends and commercial information with key stakeholders to ensure that the KES global organization can maximize opportunities. 

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Previous experience and/or qualification in sales administration or similar role.
  • General computer literacy and good familiarity with Word, Excel & CRM packages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
