Georgia-Pacific’s in-house agency, Campfire Creative, is seeking a talented, experienced and highly-collaborative Copywriter to join our team in Atlanta, GA. Working closely with other creatives within our omnichannel content team, this position will be responsible for developing compelling, relevant and on-brand copy that reflects the full breadth of Georgia-Pacific’s retail consumer packaged goods—including Dixie®, Brawny®, Sparkle®, Quilted Northern® and Angel Soft®, among others. This candidate must be able to work independently and execute efficiently while juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Responsible for writing persuasive and engaging marketing copy for use on brand websites, e-mails, banner ads, social media, e-commerce product detail pages and other digital customer touch points.
  • Takes low-involvement products and writes about them in a way that educates our consumers, engages our target audience and moves people to action through story-driven communication; multicultural and inclusive marketing copy experience is key.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of our B2C business and diverse target audiences.
  • Works closely with brand teams to maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of product lines; must be willing to research independently when necessary.
  • Maintains brand standards, tone of voice, stellar attention to detail and flawless grammar.
  • Works closely with graphic designers, brand teams, shopper marketing, eCommerce and legal/compliance to deliver creative and campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Continues to review and stay abreast of competitive activity in the e-commerce space. This role is the expert in providing an ongoing evaluation of how others present benefits, features and key selling points. Leverages knowledge and is prepared to present and confidently defend/support position.

The Experience You Will Bring


  • 5 or more years of copywriting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with long and short-form copywriting and ad-copy writing experience
  • Experience with digital B2C OR B2B touch points (e-mail, websites, social, display media, etc.) and with launching content in those channels

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, Marketing or associated discipline is preferred
  • Familiarity with Workfront project management software and Adobe Creative Suite

For this position we anticipate paying $75,000 to $95,000 per year.
