JOB OPEN FOR SHOW OF INTEREST MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATE SELECTED

This Operator II position will have primary responsibility for the Forklift role in the Shipping Department.

All interested applicants must demonstrate a pattern of safe behavior, good attendance, good disciplinary record, initiative, effective communication skills, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

    • Know all safety procedures associated with forklift operation.
    • Load incoming trucks and rail cars with the proper product for shipment.
    • Check orders for accuracy and ensure product is loaded as required.
    • Commitment to quality ensuring packed product meets packaging standards as well as verification of labels.

    · Ability to work well on a team and communicate amongst teammates, production, and/or supervisor when issues arise that need to be addressed.

    • Load trailers and rail cars with proper weight distribution.
    • Maintain an orderly warehouse for inventory control.
    • Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping on forklift.
    • Ensure work area is neat and organized. Housekeeping must be maintained each shift.

    · Use MOE system to enter work orders for forklift needs.

    · Basic knowledge of computers is required.

    · Must be able to work a Flexible Schedule that might require staying over at the end of shift, coming in early, unexpected overtime or working weekends based on Shipping needs.

    · Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    · 1 year of forklift experience required.
