Primary Purpose

1. Commercialization project engineering support
   
2. Chengdu Manufacturing engineering support
   
3. Engineering support for other design center
   
4. Provide design support for new products or extension under development
   
5. Provide engineering support for plant improvement activities
   

What You Will Do In Your Role

1. Capacity tool expansion engineering support
   
2. Tool transfer/Manufacturing location transfer engineering support
   
3. Material change or material de-sourcing engineering support
   
4. Engineering in reviewing and interpreting customer design requirements from Marketing, Sales or Customer drawings or specifications
   
5. Engineering in generating design proposals in the form of CAD models, drawings or sketches
   
6. Engineering in preparing preliminary CAD design models, sales and engineering drawings, and other design specifications such as product, material specifications
   
7. Engineering in performing production verification activities
   
8. Engineering in the release of drawings and support document required
   
9. Engineering in submitting product for reliability/screen tests; Provide design support for product modifications and/or extensions; Be an engineer in responding to customer complaints on design related issues
   

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

1. University Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, and above
   
2. Able to communicate (reading, writing, speaking and listening) in English
   
3. Be aware of product design process
   
4. At least 2 year of mechanical design experience and application
   
5. Connector/Mechanical design and manufacturing technologies
   
6. Connector materials – resin and metal
   
7. Problem solving skills –8D
