What You Will Do In Your Role

  • To meet Department set KPI as a Team.
  • Accomplish daily/routine tasks meeting high quality standard and requirement.
  • Work closely with Toolmakers / Production Supervisors / IPQC Inspectors and Quality Engineers to reduce scrap, improve yield, control and reduction of ITR (Inspection Trouble Report).
  • To ensure department QAP $ / PPM and OEE are within set Goal.
  • To work closely with Tool room supervisor and toolmakers to ensure Die log books are properly maintain at all time so that we can be audited at any time. (To record material traceability code die RAM height, description of die repair & quantity produced for tool life tracking) Required details to be uploaded to MII and paperless approach.
  • To work on Projects that can add value and saving to the Department.
  • Coordinate, liaise with black belts, Team to ensure GLSS Goal savings are met for Department.
  • Require to work outside normal working hours to meet external and internal customer requirements especially on Quality related issues, downtime, yield loss improvement actions and plans and site Audits if necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical / Precision Engineering
  • 3 years experience required
  • Microsoft office software proficiency
  • Metal Stamping knowledge preferred
