Molex is seeking a full time general machine operator to support our busbar manufacturing facility in Monee, IL. Candidates will be provided with on the job training in one or more of our production areas. This opening is on second shift. Second shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm to 1:00am with three day weekends! We are open to flexible hours for the right candidate.
What You Will Do In Your Role
Perform typical general manufacturing operations including but not limited to production support functions (tumbling, cleaning, deburring, tapping, sanding), wire assembly, general machine operations.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Cell Lead, Supervisor, Quality or Engineering.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety requirements.
The Experience You Will Bring
Physical requirements include ability to operate machinery, lift up to 40 lbs, and stand on feet for most of the day
Ability to follow written instructions and take direction from cell leader and / or direct supervisor
Additional abilities include written and verbal communication, ability to read numbers and count parts.
What Will Put You Ahead
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read blueprints and measurements
