Director, PMO NPI


Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Director of PMO (Program Management Office). We seek a leader with industry experience in complex medical devices, drug delivery devices and PMO systems background.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of PMO tools to drive consistency, standardization, and improved capability in key PgM areas:
  • Customer relationships and satisfaction
  • Standards for PgM methodology and tools / templates
  • Program financial responsibility, resource management, risk assessment/mitigation, and scope change management
  • Reporting and systems to support increasingly larger, more complex programs
  • Integration with Phillips-Medisize facilities to reach a robust manufacturing solution
  • Manufacturing launch meeting customer expectations
  • Development, coaching, program assignment & resource management of direct reports
  • Function as internal or customer escalation point to resolve program issues
  • Extended travel to other facilities may be required to support business needs
  • Some programs may have vision requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong ability to think outside of the box and to assist others in doing so
  • Broad knowledge of materials and processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering systems Motivated self-starter to manage multiple tasks and challenges
  • Strong and effective communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation
  • Good judgment; showing strong business acumen, decision quality, intellectual horsepower, perspective, and problem solving
  •  Proven project management experience 
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects 
  • Ability to motivate and influence people to achieve customer satisfaction



      The Experience You Will Bring


      • Bachelor Degree in Engineering; or equivalent experience
      • Minimum 5 years applied engineering experience in a manufacturing environment 
      • Minimum 5 years supervisory/leadership experience
      • PMP or equivalent project management experience with a drug delivery device
      • Medical device/drug delivery industry experience required

        What Will Put You Ahead

        • Previous experience establishing or working with PMO systems highly desirable
