Description

Then we have a job for you! The Planner creates value by partnering with all areas that support production to help increase our overall efficiency. Our Planners are self-motivated, detail oriented, and can multi-task as well as exercise sound judgment, prioritize duties, and follow tasks to completion in a timely manner.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  1. Maintain accurate MRP plan in SAP
  2. Provide accurate forecasts for and purchase resins from suppliers
  3. Manage work schedule to ensure equipment efficiency targets are maintained
  4. Maintain capacity planning and communicate capacity needs
  5. Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels
  6. Manage VMI forecasts with suppliers
  7. Manage releases and expedites directly with suppliers
  8. Partner with Customer Service Representatives to provide responses to expedites
  9. Contribute to supplier reviews and development
  10. Monitor and report delivery metrics

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  1. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  2. Sound decision making skills.
  3. An associate's degree or higher (2+ years of MRP systems experience in purchasing, planning, or logistics can be substituted for degree)

What Will Put You Ahead

  1. 4-year degree 
  2. 5+ years' experience in purchasing, planning, or logistics
  3. 5+ years' MRP/ERP experience using SAP
