To design and implement manufacturing processes and equipment.

What You Will Do In Your Role

o Provide process engineering technical support to production units to address and resolve any system, process, or mechanical issues that cause efficiency loss.

o Provide process support to plant engineering activities involving preparation and execution of detailed engineering projects.

o Design improvements relating to capacity, efficiency, process safety and environmental performance.

o Work with support teams to monitor unit operations, correct problems, and assist in improvements for special problems or projects.

o Lead team in identifying root cause of problems found, develop solutions and implement changes for problems as they arise from prototype to production builds.

The Experience You Will Bring


o 5+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

o Be able to work with little direction and with high level of self-motivation.

o Be able to work on own initiative and work well in a group.

o Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding part design and tooling.

o Well-organized project management skills; management background a plus.

o Proficiency in and the ability to model and implement the following concepts: empowerment and teamwork; TPS leadership philosophy and human resources practices; kaizen; standardized work; PDCA and problem solving; 5S; quality improvement tools; JIT production tools including Value Stream Mapping, lead-time reduction, set-up time reduction, process flow improvement, small lot production, heijunka, and kanban.

o Strong verbal and written communication skills.

o Provide training to Process Technicians.

o Be familiar with the scientific approach to injection molding.

o Set up and optimize an injection molding process.

1.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field and RJG and Moldflo© experience.
