Sr. Service Engineer


What You Will Do In Your Role

  • He will be responsible for Installation Supervision, troubleshooting and maintenance recommendations to customer for combustion equipment supplied by JZHC/KES.
  • Responsible for start-up and commissioning of JZHC/KES supplied combustion equipment’s installed at client sites.
  • Installation of burners and auxiliaries for boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Process heaters, reformer, ethylene cracker units
  • Turnaround and survey visit.
  • Attend customer queries and provide solutions.
  • Training customer personnel.
  • Recommending spares to customer
  • Coordination with Project team and other related internal teams.
  • Maintain long-term healthy relationship with clients by getting/providing timely feedbacks.
  • Generating opportunities for Spare parts and services to improve business of the department and company.

The Experience You Will Bring


  • B. E. in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical from an accredited 
  • 7 to 10 years, experience as Service Engineer/commissioning Engineer for combustion equipment such as Process Heater, Flares, Incinerators, Boilers.

  • · Ready to travel on short notice for customer base from India, ME & AP region.
  • · Willing to transform to the KES vision and able to adapt MBM culture.
  • · Good technical skills, communication skill and understanding sense of urgency.
  • · Strong interpersonal relationship with ability to communicate between multiple offices/client sites. Maturity, Pragmatism, compliant, self-sufficient and team spirit.
  • · Carry out the work correctly at first time as per drawings and approved standards. Any discrepancies in drawing shall be notified to the project/engineering team and get it clarified/corrected immediately.
  • · Ability to maintain long term profitable relationship with internal/external customers.
  • · Keeping correct latest updated drawings and documents to carry out the work.
  • · Help customers by offering spares, services and other John Zink/HC products which will benefit the customer by enhancing its equipment operation and further enhance the value of contribution to the operation of the Company/Group.
  • · Work within the safety rules and regulation to ensure personal safety and that of others. Installation Supervision, troubleshooting and commissioning of combustion equipment will be added advantage
  • · Carry out the equipment survey to the correct drawings/standards and work closely with customer’s responsible engineers.
  • · Reporting of correct and informative documentation (time sheets, reports, expenses, etc.) in a timely manner. Maintain the records for future reference.
  • · Keep record and report shut down / turn around dates of plant for survey and data capturing work.
  • · Able to take timely correct decision at project site to avoid delay of service.
