Koch Separation Solutions in Wilmington, MA is seeking a talented, energetic Manufacturing Process Engineer to provide technical leadership to support daily operations and drive improvements. The selected individual will be hardworking with solid technical skills and will work well with a wide array of people.

What You Will Do In Your Role


  • Day-to-day engineering support of manufacturing. Helping manufacturing achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and throughput goals
  • Detect problems early and develop actions
  • Take ownership to drive improvements
  • Gather and analyze production data
  • Perform experiments as needed to develop process understanding to support data-driven decisions to improve the operation. Technical curiosity is a highly desirable attribute for this role
  • Independently evaluate existing equipment, methods, processes, and procedures. Identify opportunities to improve safety, product quality, and cost
  • Must be able to interact constructively across the whole organization including machine operators, production supervisors, maintenance, engineering, R&D, sales, and management
  • Implement concepts from R&D and other senior technical experts
  • Hands-on support of new product and new process launch
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and multiple priorities simultaneously

    The Experience You Will Bring


    • 2+ years engineering experience in manufacturing
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering  
    • Functional knowledge of process control, (SPC, control charts, checklists)
    • Strong interpersonal skills, strategic business perspective, system thinking capability and analytical/problem solving skills
    • Results oriented with the capability of balancing multiple tasks and priorities

      What Will Put You Ahead

      • Bachelors degree in Chemical or mechanical engineering
      • 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing
      • Coating and/or membrane manufacturing experience preferred
      • Experience with CAD software preferred
      • Ability to communicate in Spanish
