Strategic Planning and Analysis Analyst

We are looking for a Strategic Planning and Analysis Analyst in Auburn Hills, MI! 

In this role you will be at the front end of our commercial decisions and will find new ways to add value to our business. You will learn about our exciting product portfolio, play a key role on our Strategic team and collaborate with our talented capabilities to support your career advancement! 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Focus on commercial, marketing, pricing and supply chain support for financial-oriented decisions, aiming for long-term value creation 
  • Share insights, propose challenges and suggestions to our commercial leaders when working on day to day activities with a goal to improve our profitability and Guardian´s strategic position in the glass market 
  • Work as a business partner to communicate and provide timely assistance, information and financial insights for our commercial priorities 
  • Assertively communicate risks and opportunities to business leaders to help address potential upsides or headwinds 
  • Support the Americas team with monthly and long term planning activities, leveraging all capabilities of our company to seek the best knowledge 

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Experience running financial scenarios/ analysis in Microsoft Excel and presenting this information with Power Point 
  • Experience prioratizing requests and communicating progress in a timely manner 
  • Experience building relationships across teams to achieve a common goal 

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business 
  • Experience with P&L
