Koch Fertilizer Enid Facility is looking for an Environmental Engineer that will focus on our Air compliance. This is a company that views EHS as a strategic partner for its customers rather than a transactional service provider.You will be in a role that can challenge, influence, and work with leaders in molding culture in an operational environmental.

The Environmental Engineer is responsible for Air Compliance for the facility and will be responsible for accurate, high-quality work in a time-sensitive fast paced environment.You will be a part of a team that is expected to carry out our activities with integrity, compliance and in a safe and efficient manner. This role reports to the Environmental Engineering Leader.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Develop, execute and maintain site compliance with air permits and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for air compliance with requirements including but not limited to Title V, Hazardous Organic NESAPS (National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants), CERCLA (Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act), EPCRA (Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act), etc.
  • Track key compliance metrics and implements systems to improve performance.
  • Development and maintenance of environmental management systems to comply with air permits and regulations.
  • Serve as point of contact and provide technical support for air compliance questions for the organization.
  • Support initiatives and programs related to air compliance/compliance demonstrations.
  • Identify training required for air permitting/compliance and assist with implementing training to operations, technical, maintenance, management, and other facility staff advancing site competitive advantage through ownership-based work processes and individual accountability.
  • Support reporting and recordkeeping as required by company policy, environmental regulations, and environmental air permits.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental, Chemical or other related Engineering and Science degrees
  • Experience working with federal and state laws governing air compliance and related compliance programs
