What You Will Do In Your Role

Duties & Responsibilities:

·Ensure silent running of Finance and Accounting Operations (including but not limited to meeting Service Level Agreements among others) by working closely with Business Accounting Team and other stakeholders.

  • Oversee day-to-day processing of Finance and Accounting transactions and ensure that they are Accurate, Timely and Complete in all respects including but not limited to ensuring all Month-End Close tasks are completed timely and accurately, Stakeholders are kept always informed proactively, Review of Journal Entries, Review of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and so on.
  • ·Work closely with other functions in ensuring that the Transition of Finance and Accounting processes is seamless.

  • Improve existing Finance and Accounting process and thereby add value to overall Operations.
  • ·Lead at least 10 team member team handling R2R deliverables; Groom, Coach and Motivate the team members so that they always give their best.

    ·Prepare and provide periodic summary of overall performance both to all the Stakeholders.

  • Ensure that Process and People-related challenges, if any, are addressed suitably through Root Cause Analysis and within the shortest possible time.
  • Ensure all requests related to data / information is reverted to within the stipulated timeline.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Management including but not limited to Hiring, Handling Audit Requests and so on.
  • Perform performance appraisals of team members and play an active role in all employee related initiatives.
  • Help management in devising and executing staffing strategies and create robust succession plan.

The Experience You Will Bring

Experience

Required

1.Overall – 10+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting function (R2R domain) within Shared Service Centre or 3rd Party Service Provider.

2.People Management Experience:

i)5+ years of experience in leading teams managing R2R deliverables.

ii)Should be currently in People Management role and at least 10+ team members should be directly reporting to him/her.

3.Experience in Transitioning Finance and Accounting process including but not limited to Planning Knowledge Transfer, Process Documentation, Stabilization among others.

4.Stakeholder Management: Should be able to independently manage multiple Stakeholders including but not limited to leading calls / meetings, providing regular updates and so on.

5.Should be able to operate independently in fast paced and dynamic environment and address questions / challenges with logical thinking.

6.Communication - Strong English Communication Skills (both Written and Spoken)

7.MS-Office Applications - Expert in usage of MS Office Applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

8.Presentation Skills - Excellent Presentation skills that demonstrate the ability to prepare and deliver concise and effective presentations relative to qualitative and quantitative information.

9.Coordination - Should be able to network across levels and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

10.Change Management – Should have proven Change Management Skills

11.Should be able handle multiple / competing priorities effectively.

12.Should have a Positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.

13.Be a team player.

14.Ability to work with high volume of data in systematic way.

15.Always conduct with Integrity both Personally and Professionally.

Education

    ·Batchelor in Commerce (B. Com), Master in Commerce (M. Com), CA (Intermediate), MBA (Finance) or CMA (Intermediate)

    What Will Put You Ahead

    Preferable

    1.Exposure to SAP or similar ERP

    2.Experience of working with Tools like Blackline, OneStream etc.

    3.Experience in Transitioning / Setting up Accounting Processes in Shared Service Delivery Model.
