Sr ME Engineer , Manufacturing Engineering

Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Troubleshoot and quickly solve processing issues in mass production. Continuously stabilize and improve existing production processes and develop new processes to improve the productivity/quality/process capacity. Reduce the MFG cost and improve our competitiveness . 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Lead to maximize production line yield & efficiency in terms of process &tooling fixture and Contribution for line POEE to achieve agreed target . 
  • Works cross functionally team to meet all targets for manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, scrap, containment and efficiency optimization. 
  • Lead to conduct new product trial run per trial run plan.
  • Process failure analysis & trouble shooting to resolve any issues in production for his own projects, Applies statistical methods to solve problems and improve manufacturing processes. 
  • Participated process improvement activities and Lead Lean & 6Sigma project.
  • Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining related manufacturing and process engineering documents required for launches. Assist production in monitoring compliance.
  • Evaluate PCN/ECN from ME view, or raise PCN/ECN. 
  • Aid in training and Certify operators in assigned processes as needed. 
  • Lead x-functional team to conduct PFMEA, & maintain/update PFMEA and support other quality activities. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management/ supervisor. 

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • College degree or above in manufacturing engineering.
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing or process engineering in the production environment. 
  • Ability to perform engineering analyses & drive to root cause of processing problems with systematic methodology. 
  • Confident under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. 

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Majored in Electro-Mechanical , Mechanical Electronics.
  • Cable assembly experience preferred.
  • Good communication on English read & written. 
  • Excellent knowledge and execution of problem solving. 
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques (KanBan, Kaizen).
