Guardian Glass is seeking you to join our team as an Asset Care Supervisor in Geneva, NY! 

The Asset Care Supervisor will partner with the Production or Fabrication team to perform a variety of coordinated activities that will build on our production, quality, and safety goals. The successful candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting equipment, ordering supplies, and coordinating asset care to be carried out during daily manufacturing. The selected individual will work with process team, co-workers, team leads, and supervisors to develop their skills and improve our MBM culture. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Communicate information to operations, process, supervisors, leads, and peers in a professional manner
  • Develop technician direct reports in accordance with MBM’s Guiding Principles 
  • Maintain asset health driven by data from process and remote monitoring 
  • Use downtime data and failure modes to update asset care strategy to maximize equipment performance 
  • Maintain inventory of critical raw materials 
  • Create and communicate project plans with a focus on safety, urgency, and long-term asset health 
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds 


The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience 
  • Experience using asset care strategies: asset criticality, failure modes, operator centric program goals 
  • Project planning experience 


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with Fabrication or Float glass production lines
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis
