What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Observe & comply with all safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to 5s principles
  • Assist the Supervisor with company goals and objectives for the department
  • Assist the Supervisor with manning and overseeing employees
  • Ensure quality of product is produced to quality standards
  • Coach and train employees too quality standards
  • Make quality decisions on parts including first piece sample
  • Create and maintain work Instructions
  • Create and maintain boundary samples
  • Create and maintain ABC zoning for parts
  • Create and maintain trend, pareto charts
  • Create and perform quality and product audits
  • Monitoring and preforming RMA duties
  • Preform MSA
  • Preform and analyze SPC on parts
  • Preform Gauge R&R
  • Able to perform the following lab testing when needed- Quick Thermal, Cass, Thickness, Stept and GAA
  • Assist with Safe Launch activities

  • Strong Microsoft Excel / Word / Power point skills
  • Familiar with Minitab (six sigma lean methodology)
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective communication skills
  • Strong organization skill
  • Familiar with Quality Management System
  • Quality measurement skills
  • Understand SRG, and customer Appearance Standards
  • Problem Solving Skills (8D, A3,5 why)
  • ISO/TS certified auditor
  • Experience in CMS 5.3 system
