What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Lead purchasing activities for running production in support of internal and internal stakeholders including but not limited to production, Quality, Customer Services and Finance .
  • Purchase materials and services based on current and forecasted demand for sustaining operations
  • Evaluate and manage vendors on factors including price, delivery, support and availability
  • Expedite the resolutions of issues relating to the product and/or delivery
  • Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain sound professional relationships with suppliers including suggestions for new agreements
  • Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers

    Requirements:

    The Experience You Will Bring

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance or another relevant education.
    • Experience with a MRP-ERP business systems. Full working knowledge of supply chain systems with implementation experience.
    • Experience in setting material standards, budgets and research to ensure an uninterruptable supply chain supporting manufacturing.
    • Experience within a similar position, ideally in a R&D department and preferable from a regulated medical industry
    • High degree of commercial understanding and the ability to transfer this to execution
    • Strong communication skills
    • You are proactive, result oriented and a self-motivated team player
    • Fluency in English.

      • Structure, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and provide a high level of service.
      • Good at problem-solving and teamwork but also the ability to work independently and proactively in a busy environment.
