Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Micro Connector Solutions


Due to increasing growth opportunities, Molex has identified the need for a Business Development Manager to join the European organization. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for seeking out and identifying new business opportunities for our Micro Connector Solutions that are in line with Molex goals and long term plan, and to convert these opportunities into successful wins for the organization. We are looking for those that share our passion in providing innovative solutions to the market to solve our customers complex challenge paired with technical expertise and strong business acumen.

homeoffice based in Europe or office based in Munich, Walldorf or Eindhoven

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Work directly with sales teams and customers to expand Molex presence and business in Europe
  • Promote capabilities and solutions through product seminars, sales trainings, and customer presentations, focusing primarily on Micro Solutions products
  • Provide front-end assistance on technical marketing and technical design to customers and front-end peers
  • Identify new business development opportunities and sponsor the development of new products
  • Develop market point of view analyses based on emerging trends and collected VOC reports
  • Work with the product management and development teams to inspire the creation of new products
  • Maintain a high level of product, industry, and market knowledge

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or technical area of study
  • Several years of sales/marketing or front-end engineering experience in connectors or adjacent industry is required
  • Good understanding of technical aspects in electrical connector design, business development and working with a range of players across industries
  • Strong written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas, exchange information clearly and concisely, and deliver presentations effectively
  • Willingness to learn and be challenged
  • Proficiency in English; another European language is a plus
  • Availability to travel, primarily within Europe
