We are looking for an Regional HR Generalist in Southeast Michigan!

 This position will support our North America Guardian Glass and SRG Global facilities. If you’re looking for a fast-pace environment that provides extensive learning opportunities and the ability to make an impact to the bottom-line, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Establish preferred partnerships with HR team/supervisors at designated locations to understand their needs, and identify opportunities to drive greater value & efficiency
  • Be a steward of our culture and embrace our operating model as way of doing business 
  • Identify opportunities to further advance our self-service model with employees and supervisor ownership
  • Evaluate current HR processes and transform the work across facilities and drive improvements
  • Oversee HR system/process needs including I-9 processing, compensation data/reports, myHR transactions, leave management support, payroll support, HRIS systems management
  • Coordinate activities around onboarding (includes orientation preparation with supervisors and referral bonus process) and separation of employees 
  • Provide support for employee investigations, working closely with site HR
  • Other HR Projects related to the facilitation of company culture and employee engagement (includes onsite health screenings)
  • Direct inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and other daily request
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with sensitive health, salary, and employment information 


The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Experience in HR Generalist or Coordinator role
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel (how to organize data/ basic formulas), PowerPoint (basic understanding of presentations) 


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting employees across multiple locations 
  • Experience building relationships with diverse groups of people at all levels of an organization 
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field
