We are currently searching for a talented individual that shares our corporate values and beliefs to fill immediate full-time requirements as a Quality Assurance Inspector  in our Uxbridge, Ontario facility.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Safe setup parts for inspection to the latest drawings.
  • Ability to read & interpret blue prints, drawing specifications.
  • Inspect parts / equipment at set-up stage as per applicable ISO procedures to the latest drawings and ensure that jobs are completed on time.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports.
  • Ensure all information pertaining to orders are updated in the system.
  • Document all Non-Conformances in the system.
  • Help investigate Non-Conformance parts / equipment to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work with third party inspectors for outside inspections.
  • Work pro-actively with fabrication to improve quality in the manufacturing stage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent detail oriented.
  • Flexible, adaptable, ability to work overtime.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 Years of experience in inspection department inspecting fabricated parts.
  • Ability to read drawings, blueprints and layout fabricated parts as per drawing.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook desired.
  • Minimum Secondary school certification required. Diploma in any field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience driving a  lift truck and running over head cranes
  • Experience using different hand tools
