Work on Component Engineering Activities, Part validation, PCN and Life cycle management


  1. Responsible for Commercial Component Engineering Part qualification process.
  2. Provide Sustaining Engineering support to Product groups across molex.
  3. Involve in all aspects of component engineering such as design support which involves Component Selection including technical analysis, reliability of component, availability and Component cost and Compliance.
  4. Work collaboratively with the Requestors, Peers, Supervisors, and other engineering groups.
  5. Support Design Engineering in identification and qualification of Electrical/Electromechanical/ Mechanical components.
  6. Responsible for understanding and working towards meeting VOC, by closely working with product management.
  7. Responsible for PCN notifications, Electronics component life cycle management, product technical parametric changes.
  8. Responsible for working on ECAD library symbols and footprint creation and Maintain library database
  9. Engineering change tools - DFR, presentation tools - power point, analytic tools - Microsoft excel etc.
  10. Show value creation, productivity improvement and continual improvements.
  11. Responsible for self-planning of work based on organizational priorities by closely working with Manager.
  12. Imbibe quality in every action / work performed.
  13. Encourage team for Innovative ideas / product suggestion.
  14. Ensure and encourage Team participation in Knowledge sharing on Technologies and Products.
  15. Support on optimizing the existing product with continuous improvement.


-Support the Advanced Engineering Team on Electronic Component & ECAD Library projects.

-Review \Validate PCN, Life cycle & PCN support.

-Support ECAD Library project activity such Classification, symbols and footprint creation.



BE/B Tech in Electrical/Electronic & Communication Engineering



0 to 1 years of Electronics Component Engineering


1.Excellent understanding of electronic component engineering and ECAD Library project.

  1. Knowledge on PLM, Library management and Various Industry standards such RoHS, REACH, UL, CE, CSA, IPC, CMRT etc.

3.Good computer skills: Microsoft Office tools.

  1. Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  2. Ability to work well in cross-functional teams.

6.Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and prioritize workload

7.Knowledge on PCB Design and Knowledge of IPC-7351 standards.

8.Knowledge of electrical, electronic & mechanical components.

9.Ability to search Internet to locate datasheets, footprints, and 3D models.

10.Ability to work with component manufacturers and suppliers to obtain additional information
