A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

The Project Manager will utilize project management techniques, business and IT knowledge, lead projects from origination through alternative analysis to implementation, ensuring that project goals support the business case and effectively manage sponsor expectations. The role will interact with a wide variety of stakeholder across Koch Companies. The Project Manager must have the ability to communicate at varying levels of details depending on the audience, as well as be flexible in their project management approach (technique). The candidate will be relied upon to execute critical, economic thinking skills with little supervision. Must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to apply the right level of discipline and controls to project scope, risks, resources, schedules, and costs.

What You Will Do In Your Role

Project Manager expectations include:

·The role of the Project Manager is to design and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain information across the business functions – Sourcing, warehousing, production, and delivery

·Identify, research, and validate the cost-efficient procedures and methods helping us to optimize the Supply Chain operations

·Review and analyze gathered data insights by exploring opportunities in the supply chain process and develop data driven proposals for improvement

·Create project proposals, obtain approvals & further plan & execute project deliverables.

·Lead, plan and implement supply chain optimization projects effectively and on-time in line with the delivery expectations

·Collaborate and influence internal business teams- Logistics, Procurement, Finance and IT Team and Vendors for seamless project execution

·Monitor performance and report project status and related KPIs to business stakeholders and leaders Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain function by reviewing current methodology and processes

    The Experience You Will Bring

    Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications: 

    ·5+ years of experience in a project management type role responsible for leading Retail, Technology, E-Commerce, or Process change projects

    ·Working knowledge of SQL and BI in Data warehousing and business analytics

    ·Proven ability to take an assertive approach to drive project teams to meet commitments

    ·Ability to quickly understand overall business objectives and use economic analysis to facilitate decision making

    ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communication at all levels of the organization with clarity and precision

    ·Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills enabling the ability to achieve business objectives while ensuring attention to details

      ·Strong leadership and facilitation skills Bachelor level degree or higher degree

        What Will Put You Ahead

        Preferred Qualifications:

        ·PMP and/or Supply Chain Management certification preferred

        ·Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes

        ·Effective communication and influencing skills for negotiation and conflict management

        ·Ability to conceptualize large and complex projects and foresee business opportunities

        ·Experience working in global business environment and remote teams
