Sales Manager


What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Grow and develop the highly strategic and preferred partnership with key account(s) in China:
  1. Develop and maintain multiple connections/relationships with key account leadership and decision maker(s) in order to understand subjective value & unmet needs. 
  2. Build, develop and execute strategies to grow existing airbag business with key account(s) in China. 
  3. Seek, originate and develop additional project(s) of interest to INVISTA by leveraging the knowhow, technology and proposed solutions from the New Business Development of Specialty Industrial Material. 
  4. Serve as they liaison and relationship owner between Koch companies and key account(s). Seek opportunities of mutual benefit between key account(s) and other Koch companies as appropriate. Execute and administrate the Sales Agreement(s) in accordance with the Terms & conditions. 
  • Execute and administrate the Sales Agreement(s) with strategic spot customers in China in accordance with the Terms & conditions and seek to develop mutually beneficial opportunities. 
  • Ensure we are meeting customers’ needs and maximizing value creation opportunities through building in-depth understanding about customers' value chain, operations, and inventory situation. 
  • Provide guidance to technical service and provide quality expectation to customers.
  • Seek to identify and develop new customers / partners (e.g. Tier 1s and OEMs) in China: 
  1. Review, study and immerse into the growth strategy of downstream partners.
  2. Find potential project(s) that of interest to INVISTA by comparing the proposed solutions of New Business Development of Specialty Industrial Materials. 
  3. Pass through potential project(s) and introduce the business leads to other INVISTA businesses and, if applicable, other businesses/companies under Koch Industries. 

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Minimum 8 years of commercial experience, preferably with industrial textile and automatic passive safety industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to fully understand and identify key issues at customers and good thinking capabilities in solution proposals.
  • Good communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
  • Strong passion in acquiring new knowledge / skills, new market development and cultivation. 
  • Good culture fit of MBM: abilities to think out of the box and the courage to challenge the status quo.
