The Accounting Systems Admin will be a part of an global Finance team for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Technology Center (KTC) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees. This role is a part of the Guardian team within the KTC. Accounting Systems Administrator will report to the Regional Finance Controller, AMEIA of the Guardian.The Accounting Systems Administrator shall be responsible for providing support to a wide range of professional users of accounting systems and sub-systems to solve internal customer’s requests as well as serve business needs and priorities. The Accounting SystemsAdministrator will be expected to implements system enhancement functionalities, creates standard accounting reports to support month-end activities, monitors system set-ups and alignment with internal controls. Accounting Systems Administrator shall also identify any system deficiencies and leverage modern technologies to offer efficient solutions.

A Day In The Life Could Include:

(job responsibilities)

  • Accounting Systems administration and maintenance activities (incl. System updates on GL, ABC’s, Cost Centers)
  • Accounting Systems access rights management
  • Building and standardization of accounting reports to ensure best practices sharing and integrity of reporting
  • Ensure core internal controls for accounting areas in systems are maintained
  • Ensure appropriate level of process documentation is created and maintained
  • Providing System trainings to end users when required
  • Actively participate in Systems Implementation Projects
  • Support Systems migration activities in new business unit creation
  • Proactive outlook for improvements to the current systems
  • First point of contact in case of support
    • Troubleshooting of Accounting Systems reporting tools

    What You Will Need To Bring With You:

    (experience & education required)

    • Ideal candidate would have Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
    • Ideal candidate would have 4+ years of relevant and similar experience in accounting department as system administrator or business analyst with accounting background,
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in Infor SUN6 and/or M3 Accounting
    • Fluent written and spoken English
    • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Experience with workflow solutions
    • Flexibility and good interpersonal skills
    • Good organizational skills
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and use technology to improve the efficiency
    • Ability to work within tight deadlines and attention to details

    What Will Put You Ahead:

    (experience & education preferred)

    • Exposure to any Infor Suite Systems or Accounting System Administrator
    • Experience in shared service center considered as an asset
    • Shift timings will be general shift.
