The Software Developer will be a part of an international team that designs, develops and delivers new applications for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function.

As a Software Developer, you will analyze business systems and identify key requirements to accurately and efficiently create customized components as well as design, develop and test customized components for project tasks, documentation and status updates and to execute work plans by accepting personal accountability for project deliverables and developing short-term work schedules and priorities for individual tasks.

A Day in The Life Could Include:

·Understands client requirements and how they translate in application features

·Collaborates with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications

·Designs creative prototypes according to specifications

·Writes high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines

·Performs unit and integration testing before launch

·Conducts functional and non-functional testing

·Troubleshoots and debug applications

·Evaluates existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features

·Develops technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

·Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.

·Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.

·Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.

·Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

·Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.

What You Will Need to Bring with You:

(experience & education required)

·4+ years of .NET development (C#, MVC, ASP.NET, etc.)

·Good knowledge of any SQL Database, working with complex queries and stored procedures

·2+ years of .Net Core development experience

·4+ years javascript, jQuery experience (more than just control basic control validation)

·3+ years of experience with Rest APIs

·3+ years complex enterprise application development and data integration experience

·knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in ADO or GitLab

·Experience of working in legacy applications with VB.Net, Web forms and classic asp.net apps

·Understanding and working experience of implementing authentication and authorization in applications with Oauth 2.0 , OpenIdConnect or SAML

What Will Put You Ahead:

(experience & education preferred)

·AWS experience - development using Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, and other AWS services.

·AWS Certifications

·Outsystems experience - Understanding of low-code development and RAD process.

·Experience of developing SPA apps with any modern Js frameworks like React/Vue/Angular
