Description

Process Engineer

Overall Fucntion:

Support the design team on all new projects and process development as well as support the Manufacturing Processes and functional team on process definition , problem solving and optimization.

Detailed Functions:

Definition of manufacturing processes

Experience in cable cord sets processing and testing.

Interpretation of Engineering Drawings and translating them into clear Work Instructions.

Quality Tools and PPAPbasic knowledge

Lead process development efforts to support product development for next generation cable products and technology.

Set-up and run new processes for products in development, aid in running initial prototypes, and provide feedback to Design Engineering team for iterative improvement.

Utilize knowledge of product design, raw materials and equipment capabilities to develop optimal process settings for products in development as well as improvements for products in volume production.

Provide or create input to machine development or new equipment.

Align processes to standards.

Work with functional team ( Supervisor , Quality Engineer )to improve work flow and machinery on production lines.

Provide input to technical personnel to design / implement control systems for future and existing equipment or processes.

Aid appropriate technical personnel and machine Operators in troubleshooting in all areas of the plant.

Required:

Working on high-mixing systems low volume

Lean Manufacturing

Six Sigma at least basic level

Analysis of information & Problem Solving Skills

Experience in cable and harness manufacturing over 8 years

Advanced Excel

Advanced English -Bilingual

Education:

Bachelor in Mechatronics, Electronics , Industrial or similar.
