Production Operators will work in any one of the following departments: Finished Goods or Coater. Our Operators must be willing to work a rotational shift schedule (up to 12 hours), holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Starting wages are $18/hr, with an increase to $19/hr after 1 year. Employees are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 30 days of employment. We offer a robust benefits package that includes a 401K plan with a 7% Match and 120 hours of vacation time. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE
·Operate and troubleshoot equipment utilized during daily manufacturing
·Prepare final products for shipping and distribution
·Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, report/escalate unresolved issues immediately
·Work in a team environment to meet or exceed safety, production and quality goals
·Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment
·Perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, cold, humid, dusty and high-volume environment
·Maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING
·Willing and able to meet the physical and safety requirements of the job
·Experience using a computer or tablet
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD
·One (1) or more years of experience working in a farming, manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
·Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance
·Six (6) months or more of machine operator experience
- Experience operating a forklift
