The Network Automation Architect will be responsible for architecting, designing and implementing a world-class automation capability for the Global Network Team.In this role you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Koch network automation capability while working with a highly innovative team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a network automation capability.This person will also have a strong passion to work in a collaborative team environment with stakeholders in a variety of regions and time zones. The candidate will be self-motivated, innovative and a strategic thinker.

A Day In The Life Could Include:

  • Lead and influence multiple global network teams
  • Operate autonomously to drive actions based on strategic alignment to the team’s long-term vision
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across business groups
  • Mentor and provide technical assistance to the Network Automation team while promoting best practices and standards
  • Design and plan enterprise level projects
  • Experiment and research new technologies, works closely with various vendors to understand technologies and roadmaps
  • Own the automation capability within the Communications Services
  • Working with capabilities and move towards Network as Code / Infrastructure as Code
  • What You Will Need To Bring With You:

    (experience & education required)

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in network
  • 2+ years in Network Architecture
  • Passion and knowledge towards Dev Ops
  • Experience in working with complex enterprise network environments
  • Diverse knowledge and experience in Wireless, LAN, SDWAN, and Software Defined technologies
  • Effective communication skills across a range of audiences
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with minimal direction
  • Strong initiative with the ability to seek out opportunities that can create additional value for the organization
  • Experience in planning and working in complex projects.
  • Good knowledge of Ansible, Python, CICD Pipeline,

    What Will Put You Ahead:

    (experience & education preferred)

    • Minimum 8-12 years networking experience
    • Good Communication skills.
    • Network Automation Experience would be an added advantage
    • CCNP desired, CCIE, CCDA certifications or equivalent is a plus
    • Experience applying Agile methodologies
    • Understanding of Agile principles and Certification: Sr - DevNet Specialist or Professional

    Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM best practices and capabilities

    ·After-hours (nights and weekends) availability for meetings with global team members and/or key business partners.
