Organizational Change Management Analyst

As a member of the Georgia-Pacific IT Organizational Change Management (OCM) Team, you will be part of a growing capability dedicated to supporting and sustaining critical IT initiatives. OCM plans include designing enabling tools, communications, facilitating team norming and collaboration sessions, as well as consultative coaching. You will partner with leaders and team members across a global workforce to gain insight to proactively both preempt and get ahead of barriers to change adoption and sustainment. You will work in an innovative and collaborative team where experimentation and learning are expected.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Discussions with key leaders and team members in group and 1:1 sessions to identify what is working well and what may be surfacing as an issue, assessing whether it is anecdotal or potentially systemic
  • Building strong partnerships and behavioral knowledge of the groups should be outcomes of all interactions
  • Active participation in the IT Change Advocate Group, helping ensure these individuals are supported strongly and are advocating across their respective organizations
  • Helping establish an OCM Community of Practice
  • Participating in various IT initiative meetings to understand, think through OCM needs, and observe interactions which might be indicators of needs, to develop the best OCM plan for that initiative and impacted teams
  • Developing targeted communications relevant to audiences and initiative needs
  • Working with IT leaders to develop team engagement plans, messaging, and cadence
  • Incorporating a thoughtful multimedia approach that works well in a virtual environment and across a global workforce
  • Insightful facilitation of team norming and collaboration sessions with agendas tailored to the team’s needs and maturity level
  • Supporting and preparing Senior IT Leadership for planning meetings, Town Halls, Videos, Messaging, etc.
  • Researching to stay current on practical approaches to change and team member engagement as work environments change

The Experience You Will Bring


  • At least 5 years’ experience in enabling change, including in an IT area, of a large, diverse, global organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field
  • Experience leading as part of a cross-functional team in the capacity of direct supervisor, project team leader, or workstream lead, community of practice, etc. where collaborating, communicating, influencing, coaching, and planning with all levels of an organization were key to deliver results
  • Implemented a multimedia approach to engage employees
  • Established a Community of Practice

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Master’s in Business or another related field
  • Multimedia (virtual video and drone) production and direction
  • Experience in IT Delivery practices
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and strong listening skills
  • Intuitive ability to navigate and execute in ambiguous situations
