Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

What You Will Do In Your Role

As a member of the refinery’s reliability team, the Electrical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, mentoring, training and development of 8-10 electricians. Daily tasks to include, but not limited to, area execution of maintenance and projects, efficient and effective use of manpower, coaching, mentoring, motivating, conducting performance reviews, developing team capabilities, identifying training needs, implementing a plan to close training gaps, and staying current with administrative duties. Environmental, health and safety goal attainment for the team is the responsibility of the Supervisor.  

Actions to include, but not limited to, implementation of a team safety plan, engaging crew in total safety culture, ensuring compliance training requirements are met, and team adherence to all electrical safe work practices (NFPA 70E). 

The Electrical Supervisor should have knowledge of Electrical Systems including motors, starters, lighting panels, substations, conduit/wire and electronic controls. Key to success in the role will be the ability to coordinate/collaborate with other departments/crafts to achieve safe and timely repairs. The Electrical Supervisor will own the team’s strategic improvement initiatives and drive a learning culture that supports transformation. 

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in electrical field (experience could be combination of commercial, industrial, residential) 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Available for on call or unplanned events

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 10 years work experience in electrical field (experience could be combination of commercial, industrial, residential) 
  • Journeyman license
  • 2 years supervision experience
