KBS is hiring a

Procurement SME (Subject Matter Expert) with Spanish or Portuguese 

The position holder will be the primary contact for Procurement operations, liaising with Requestors of Purchase Requisitions, Plant Operations team and Suppliers. Solicit quotations, Convert Purchase requests into Purchase Orders for Direct and Indirect Products and Services for plant operations. Follow up with Suppliers for Order acknowledgements, timely delivery of Products and Services, ensure goods receipt is recorded in internal IT applications, payments are made on time to suppliers, resolve disputes (Invoice/Payment) if any.


What You Will Do In Your Role

  • PR to PO: Validate Purchase requisitions, Request for quotes from Suppliers for new products or services, Review quotes with Requestors/Sourcing team/Commodity managers and issue Purchase orders to Suppliers
  • Order acknowledgement & delivery: Ensure Purchase orders are delivered to Suppliers on time, receive order acknowledgements and follow up for timely delivery of Products and Services
  • Good Receipt / Invoices: Work with requestors / Storeroom to ensure goods are received as per Quantity / Price issued in purchase order, recorded in the system and invoices are forwarded from Suppliers to Accounts Payable team as appropriate
  • Resolve disputes in payments if any by coordinating with Suppliers, Requestors, AP team and other departments as necessary
  • Embrace and apply the Market Based Management culture and philosophy
  • The role will involve supporting LATAM region as well, hence open to work in Europe / LATAM time zone to meet business needs
  • Perform other related support activities as assigned by management


The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Graduate Degree in Economics or related area
  • Proficiency in English and one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese
  • Good PC skills are necessary including Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Solid Procurement experience is desirable, preferably gained in industrial/manufacturing industry
  • Accurate data processing, Sense of urgency, Good Time management in meeting deadlines 
  • Confidentiality is a requirement in this position
