What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Drive new business development in China market 
  1. Develop relationships and networks at OEM’s to sell the value of INVISTA innovations and create pull across the supply chain 
  2. Own technical interface at OEM’s and support Tier 1 interactions 
  3. Create proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations 
  4. Commercialize new product technology within the Airbag value chain in China 
  5. Design interactions and develop technical sales strategies to target new opportunities, drive adoption, and gather market insight 
  6. Align with global counterparts on customer interactions and go to market activities 
  7. Support commercial leadership in developing segmentation, account strategies and business models 
  8. Support the business teams in determining the value of the technology in support of pricing and business strategies 
  9. Support the development of innovations and market experiments 
  • Identify risks and opportunities to lead to the profitable actions for airbag
  1. Identify markets, technical needs by Tier-1, OEM interactions. 
  2. Translate the insights to INVISTA knowledge to drive the actions to capture the opportunities and mitigate potential future risks. 
  3. Drive the transformation application projects to implement to China customers. 
  4. Coordinate the resource and support with the global team if necessary. 

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years working experience at China Auto industry 
  • Comprehensive understanding of Auto product development process 
  • Excellent internal/external communication skill in both Chinese and English (written and spoken) 
  • Travel to both domestic and abroad (mainly in China) 
  • Willingness to adopt company’s Market Based Management® philosophy
  • Bachelor’s degree of a science or engineering
