Manufacturing Team Coach - Green Bay Broadway Mill 

Georgia-Pacific’s Consumer Products Division is currently searching for an experienced Manufacturing Team Coach for our Broadway Mill located in Green Bay, WI. This role is responsible for planning and directing daily work for our hourly production team members. A successful candidate will lead and develop their team members to contribute to the success of our operations. This position would work a 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufacturers and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). The mill has about 1,725 mill employees and about 600 business support employees that provide engineering, transportation, data processing and customer services. Every day, GP employees and products help maintain a strong, stable economy in Northeastern Wisconsin. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Facilitating team and employee development of hourly operations workforce • Fostering employee commitment and engagement as it relates to safety 

• Driving and accomplishing year over year improvement as it relates to productivity, customer satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, cost management, asset availability, and environmental, health and safety excellence 

• Driving process & equipment modifications that result in improved product quality, reduced variation and higher customer satisfaction. 

• Using critical & economic thinking skills, the challenge process, and collaborative team efforts to resolve issues and to advance innovation, efficiency, and safety excellence 

• Planning and directing work for assigned crew, hourly production employees • Overseeing, managing and evaluating employees’ performance; acknowledge successes, address performance concerns, and assist in resolving complaints and issues 

• Working with the Performance Leader to ensure that the individual roles, responsibilities, and expectations are aligned with mill and organization goals 


The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• A minimum of one (1) of the following: 

   o Two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction or military environment 

   o Two (2) or more years of experience working for a Koch business 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook 

• Experience with PC-based production reporting systems applications 

• Willing and able to work 12 hour rotating shifts that include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime 


What Will Put You Ahead

• Associates Degree or higher 

• Five (5) or more years of supervisory experience with responsibility over direct reports within a manufacturing environment 

• Experience in paper or converting operations
