Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Division is now hiring a Maintenance Planner to join their team in Augusta, GA!   

This role will focus on detailed reliability planning, coordination, and execution to support the team as a maintenance leader. This position will require a self-motivated, creative, problem solver with a positive approach. A successful candidate will have a long-term continuous improvement focus that values establishing systemic processes that are system versus people dependent and create sustainable value.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Embrace and cultivate the Market Based Management (MBM®) culture
  • Own the end-to-end maintenance planning, scheduling, and communication process
  • Lead after preventative maintenance (PM) feedback sessions, focused on discoveries and action cycling
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks that do not already have their procedures properly documented
  • Contribute to capital project reliability controls, process, and workflow design
  • Work with OEM on Preventative Maintenance updates of machines
  • Prioritize work order based on work priority
  • Complete Maintenance requisitions for parts needed for work orders for job kits
  • Manage, own, and cycle actions on the key reliability proactive metrics

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Degree in Engineering or Maintenance
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel (create/modify spreadsheets), Word (create/modify documents), and PowerPoint (prepare/present presentations), and Outlook (email correspondence)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in the corrugated industry
  • Experience working in a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program
