Description
INVISTA Shanghai is hiring an environmental engineer to support ADN project. The role will be transferred to INVISTA YingLon site operation after project completion.
During Project:
·Coordinate the interface between the project and the plant in environmental management. As INVISTA environmental reps to conduct environmental inspection during the construction phase.
·Well understand emission control and measurement methodology design in project to ensure they are aligned with future government inspection approach.
·Provide professional expertise for project environment acceptance, air, noise, water, etc.
·Work with the team to prepare for Day 1 Readiness of the project, including developing environmental management procedures, training materials, etc.
- Fully follow company compliance requirements to conduct work related task and activities.
During Normal Operation after Project:
·Develop, lead and/or participate in environmental upgrade projects, such as air emission collection and treatment upgrade projects, wastewater reuse or reduction projects.
·Provide site level environmental related training to employees to enhance awareness, knowledge and skills. Support to achieve the goal of shift run the shift.
·Conduct or organize site environmental self-assessment, and internal audit, and track finding/recommendation closure status.
·Coordinate environmental authority inspection, and work with related functional teams to close potential findings.
·Collect site environmental KPI and performance data and prepare EHS reports as needed.
·Participate in project environmental review and MOC. Provide environmental consulting service to other function teams.
·Support environmental permitting during operation and small projects.
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor or Master of Chemical Engineering, Environment Engineering or equivalent
-Work experience: 3-8 years’ work experience in environmental design, inspection, or environmental management related to chemical industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Process background in Chemical, Petro-chemical plant is preferred.
-Extend experience of green field Chemical project design is a plus
-Familiar with regulation, standard, and national law related to environment.
-Familiar with environmental inspection methodologies
-Fluent written and oral in English is necessary
