Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager
Description
The Total Rewards Manager will be based in Singapore, reporting to the HR Director-Total Rewards. He or she will be supporting Koch businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
What You Will Do In Your Role
Provide C&B advisory to BHR/Supervisors/Leaders to better understand:
- External labour environment:
- market compensation & benefits trends
- job mapping to external market
- making sense of salary survey data
- unique pay/benefits components in shortlisted candidates’ existing remuneration package eg stock option, pension plans
- Implications on employees’ total remuneration during talent movement eg:
- Transfers across Koch companies
- Housing employees in another business’ legal entity
- Localization of assignees
- Contractors/agents converted to employee status or vice versa
C&B Design & Analysis vis-a-vis Streamline & Harmonize Across Koch Companies
- Total compensation competitiveness analysis, sales incentive plans, retention plans, types of allowances, pay structure
- Total benefits review, design and cost/income tax/retirement fund impact analysis
- Define approaches to managing benefits eg car (purchase, leasing, allowance or mileage claims) and long service awards (cash, gifts, recognition meals)
- Define benefits policies and payment rules eg leave, medical plan
- Engage and secure key stakeholders buy-in on propose C&B changes and partner BHR on change management during implementation
- Due diligence and integration support on new acquisitions, new C&B plan design for operation sites/commercial offices start up.Replication of C&B plans and vendors’ SLAs for divestitures.
Vendors strategy, selection, consolidation for economies of scale purchasing and SLA (Service Level Agreement) management
C&B Governance, Administration & Analytics
- Ensure benefits meet local requirements (update C&B content in Employee Handbook, Work Rules)
- Partner HR Operations in the setup of tools/systems and processes to support C&B administration
- Participate in salary/benefits surveys & sharing salary survey data with supervisors
- Manage employees’ insurances eg annual renewals & escalated claims
- Assist/create dashboards/tools to provide improved analytics to businesses
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Degree holder with relevant working experience
- Exposure and experience in regional support
- Able to work well with diverse teams of different cultures and personalities
- Strong English written and communication skills
What Will Put You Ahead
- Minimum 6 years of relevant HR and/or Compensation & Benefits experience
- Possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills to manage C&B program design, cost vs benefits analysis and process development
- Hands-on approach, able to work independently with minimal supervision
