Material Operator
Description
| PRIMARY PURPOSE: | The Material Handler is responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of the Bolingbrook Supply Chain Hub.This is a second shift position; hours are Monday-Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
| 1. | Inbound -Breakdown inbound freight and separate by part number -Scan, count, and tag, to verify all inbound shipments using Inbound Checklist -Stage for replenishment |
| 2. | Inventory Control -Participate in inventory activities. -Complete inventory counts using Cycle Count sheets and RF scanning process |
| 3. | Pick -Collect orders using RF process -Move or assemble material for outbound packaging. |
| 4. | Pack -Prepare outbound shipments based on customer’s specific requirements including ·Labeling ·Scanning ·Palletizing ·Data Entry |
| 5. | Audit/Shipping -Audit outbound shipments for accuracy -Scan outbound shipments for Pallet Build process -Assist creating outbound shipments -Assist with the wrapping pallets and loading trailers |
| 6. | Maintain a neat and orderly work area. |
| 7. | Understand and follow stated policies and procedures. ·TQM – Total Quality Management ·ISO – International Standards Organization ·EH&S – Environmental, Health, and Safety |
| 8. | Perform other related duties as assigned by management. |
