Business Implementation Specialist

KBX Logistics is looking for a Business Implementation Specialist to assist with cultivating customer relationships from the sales cycle, design phase, testing, training, implementation, go-live, and transition to on-going operations. This includes being able to recognize opportunities to expand services and a creative mindset to challenge "business as usual". This individual must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, diverse work environment. This position reports to a Business Implementation Manager and is open for a nationwide location. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

Assist with leading large, multi-disciplined teams in the delivery of new business start-ups and other projects; including:

  • Resource planning
  • Project planning
  • Tracking performance metrics and action items
  • Risks analysis
  • Issue resolution
  • Implementation close and review
  • Achieve implementations and strategic project results (time, scope, and budget)
  • Work with Project Sponsors to ensure alignment between KBXL and the customer
  • Discover and implement innovative solutions to customers and business users
  • Escalate issues and options appropriately
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication

Assist with determining and implementing new system requirements or enhancements across all functional areas:

  • Capture requirements and provide to IT
  • Project planning
  • Organizing involvement from all required functional areas
  • Create/execute testing plans
  • Training plan
  • Create rollout plans
  • Provide post implementation support

Assist with determining and implementing business process changes across all functional areas:

  • Capture current state process
  • Identify existing or new process gaps
  • Lead business units through process alignment exercises
  • Overlap business processes with systems testing plans
  • Create end to end solution training plans
  • Create success measurements to ensure smooth hand off to business owners
  • Be a knowledge expert on training, implementation, and KBXL technology environments

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in the Transportation Industry
  • Ability to travel as needed; up to 50% for periods of implementation
  • Proficient in MS-Office suite
  • Highschool diploma or GED

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Project Management, IT, Communications, or related field.
  • Previous experience with 3PL implementation
  • Project management experience, leading complex implementations or new business start-ups
  • Previous experience being part of a team or project that designed, implemented, or executed a new interface with an internal business unit or new customer
