i360, the leading data and technology provider for the pro-free market public policy and advocacy community, supports organizations that promote free enterprise and smaller government. i360 is a dynamic workplace sitting on the leading edge of public policy, technology, and business, and is seeking an intern who is excited about their cause as they are about building the next generation of political technology.

i360 is seeking a Data Services Intern to plan for, collect, organize, format and ingest election related data at the State, County, and Precinct levels as well assist in managing absentee and early vote data collection. To be considered, candidates must be creative, passionate about process improvement and promoting free market issues.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

•Create and maintain a master calendar of election results and continuously update timelines

•Prioritize and collect election results at the State, County, Municipal and Precinct levels

•Source, prioritize and manage absentee and early voting data set collection

•Manage local geography collection (contact local counties, municipalities)

•Desire to learn about different types of big data (election and commercial data)

This position is located in Arlington, VA. This role is open to remote candidates residing in the U.S. except within the state of Colorado.

The Experience You Will Bring?

Requirements:

·Eligible candidates will be enrolled in a degree program with an anticipated graduation date of Dec 2021- December 2022

·Proficient in MS Excel (i.e. - spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formulas creation etc.)

Assets:

·Pursuing degree in quantitative subject or a social science subject

·Experience with election data, such as precinct level returns

·Proficiency in MS SQL
