Description
Due to increasing growth opportunities, Molex has identified the need for a Key Account Manager for our Antenna Solutions to join the European organization. As a Key Account Manager, you will support and develop one of our well-known customers in the automotive manufacturing industry in the Wolfsburg area and operate as connection between our internal departments and the customer's requirements within the product segment. We are looking for those that share our passion in providing innovative solutions to the market to solve our customers complex challenge paired with technical expertise and strong business acumen.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Central point of contact for Molex to coordinate our various departments to best align our activities with the needs of our customer
- Responsibility for sales agreements, pricing and negotiations including prior strategy development, preparation, scenario planning and possible alternatives
- Identify opportunities to create mutual benefits for an optimal placement of our products based on an understanding of the customer's needs
- Developing and tracking long term roadmaps for our customer in terms of forecasts, pricing, quality claims, milestones etc within the product segment
- Provide market data related to customer development, trends and competitors and the accompanying communication to our internal teams
The Experience You Will Bring
- Bachelor´s /master’s degree with a focus on electronics, mechanics or business administration
- Multiple years of professional experience in a similar position in the environment of a Tier1 automotive supplier company with an electronic focus (antenna solutions an advantage)
- Experience in working with German automotive manufacturers (especially VW Group)
- Very good communication, presentation and negotiation skills as well as experience in working with international and interdisciplinary teams, partners, co-workers and customers
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Business fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel to our production and development centers
