Junior Project Manager - Food Processing

Due to increasing growth opportunities, RELCO has identified the need for a Junior Project Manager for our location in Drachten (Netherlands) to join the European Engineering organization. As a Junior Project Manager you will be part of our local team and work with all departments along the process chain to ensure smooth handling of our customer projects. Mentored by our Senior Project Managers you will first be coached on your first projects until you manage your projects on your own. We are looking for those that share our passion in providing innovative solutions to the market to solve our customers complex challenge paired with strong technical expertise and business acumen.

Junior Project Manager (m/f/d) Food Processing

located in Drachten (Netherlands)

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Manage projects and resources in accordance with internal business processes to ensure requirements are effectively delivered across the project cycle of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure
  • Responsibility for P&I Drawings and General Arrangements in cooperation with internal stakeholders such as Automation Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Construction Managers
  • Manage and monitoring of project progress in terms of budget, scope, costs, quality as well as adherence to deadlines and milestones
  • Responsibility for internal and external communication on project progress 

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with focus on process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field / education
  • Demonstrated work experience in managing customer focused projects
  • Experience of the food processing, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Highly technical aptitude, effective management, and strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues, internal and external customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project Planning is a plus
  • Business Fluent in English; Dutch would be an advantage
