Purpose of the position:

  • Responsible for deployment of the Phillips-Medisize Operational Excellence Strategy including the effective implementation and management of operational excellence principles, systems and tools.Lead initiatives and projects that enable improvements and implement changes that result in significant cost reductions for the company, improving the production process and ensuring product quality.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Lead and execute process improvements to achieve site operating plans, key objectives, and corporate initiativesDevelop strategic and tactical plans to achieve key performance metrics and site initiatives.
  • Identify and lead process improvement projects and teams to drive continuous improvement and cultural change
  • Coach and mentor team members on the use of continuous improvement methodologies with constant training aimed at expanding employeesknowledge and use of the tools
  • Create structure required to implement improvement systems based on training and dissemination, working in conjunction with other departments
  • Work on optimization of times and movements, reduction of non-value-added activities. Establish and execute the actions and changes necessary for the proper optimization of plant resources.


  • Lead the development of a culture of continuous improvement that is biased toward action and driving key performance metrics improvements
  • Maximize operational performance by proactively identifying areas for improvement, leading Lean/6-Sigma initiatives and projects, utilizing lean tools and techniques, analyzing and reporting key metrics, communicating continuous improvement activities and training team members to accomplish the same
  • Utilize excellent project management skills and experience; Effectively communicating, and demonstrating successful organizational and planning skills
  • Solid management in the processes of Continuous improvement, establishment, monitoring and fulfillment of objectives, solutions must be driven to completion.


  • LEAN expertise includes daily management systems, visual factory, standard work, leader standard work, 6S, 8W, process and value stream mapping, quick-kaizens and policy deployment
  • Six Sigma methodologies; Black Belt Certification is a plus
  • Statistical software management, industrial engineering tool management and quality

  •  4 year in areas of engineering, quality or continuous improvement


  • Bachelor  degree, Engineering
  • English, professional level
